Opera in the Garden
Opera in the Garden
Born out of necessity in a global pandemic, Opera in the Garden is an idea that was both historic and an innovative solution for our societal shift. As a disability-affirmative opera company, OPrak is always looking for new ways to allow everyone to enjoy opera to the fullest. Running our productions in a community garden allows seating to be adaptable for the audience and performers. Nature enhances the story in this immersive environment, which brings a unique bond between our performers, audience, and the surrounding community.
We get to provide an exceptional operatic experience while keeping a low overhead, enabling us to provide a more flexible cost for ticketing, which opens our doors to many more people.
